摘要


燃料電池是一種新型發電機,以富含氫氣和富含氧氣的氣體為燃料,經由電化學反應,產生電、熱和水,低噪音、低污染和高發電效率為最大特色。磷酸燃料電池(PAFC)、熔融碳酸鹽燃料電池(MCFC)、鹼性燃料電池(AFC)、質子交換膜燃料電池(PEMFC)、固態氧化物燃料電池(SOFC)和直接甲醇式燃料電池(DMFC)六種,經過三十年以上研究發展和測試,各有特色,已經可以成功應用在軍事、太空、大廈、工廠、運輸載具和攜帶式電子設備。量產和降低成本,將可取代化石能源。

Fuel cell is an electrochemical device which convert the chemical energy of a fuel hydrogen (H_2), or H_2 rich fuels, together with oxygen (O_2) from air, into electric energy and heat. The characteristic is high efficiency, low acoustic and thermal emissions. The six most important fuel cell technologies Phosphoric Acid Fuel Cell (PAFC), Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell (MCFC), Alkaline Fuel Cell (AFC), Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC), Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC), Direct Methanol Fuel Cell (DMFC) have developed and tested over thirty years. It is successful testing and application on military, space, building, plant, transportation and portable equipment. Mass production to reduce costs, fuel cell can replace fossil energy.
