本研究之目的旨在檢驗作者所建構之「體育課滿意度模型」的適切性,藉以探究選修考量因素與修課滿意度兩潛在變項間存有的線性結構關係。研究對象是靜宜大學選修體育課之231名學生。以葉麗琴(2001)所編制之「體育課滿意度量表」與作者自編之「選修體育課考量因素量表」做為研究工具,經結構方程模式分析結果顯示:(一)體育課滿意度模型與靜宜大學選修體育課學生所提供的資料相契合,表示作者建構的體育課滿意度模型是一個理想的模型;(二)選修考量因素對於修課滿意度具有顯著的直接效果(完全標準化結構係數為.91),且效果的方向為正向,表示受試學生在知覺重要性高的考量因素上獲得滿意的回饋;(三)選修考量因素對於修課滿意度的解釋力甚高,解釋變異量達83%。作者最後根據研究結果試提建議,以供體育學者與教師同仁未來研究與管理之參考。
The purpose of this study was to develop and test a hypothesized model of physical education class satisfaction. In addition, this study sought to examine the latent relationship between considerations of taking physical education classes and class satisfaction. The participants consisted of 231 students from the Providence University. The research instruments involved Yeh's (2001) ”Satisfaction Scale of Physical Education Program” and the newly-constructed ”Physical Education Class Consideration Inventory”. Using Structural Equation Modeling to analyze the data, the results revealed that: 1) the hypothesized model of physical education class satisfaction fit the data reasonably well; 2) considerations of taking physical education classes were found to be positively related to class satisfaction; 3) considerations of taking physical education classes accounted for 83% of the variance in class satisfaction. Recommendations for future research endeavors and physical education teachers were provided in the discussion.
