摘要
「伯公」是客家人對土地神的稱呼，也是客家信仰中至為重要的一環。在客家眾多信仰崇拜的對象中，伯公信仰可以說是最為普遍的一種，也是形制最古樸的神祇，簡便的石主設置不但獨具風格，更反應出客家人對於伯公的情感及人與土地相親的特質。 隨著民間信仰文化逐漸受到重視，客家伯公信仰也成為學者研究的關注點。平鎮地區位居桃園縣平地十二鄉鎮市行政區的心臟地帶，為客屬族群聚集之地，過去曾因夾在中壢和楊梅兩大先期開墾的農業區間而受到忽略，使得平鎮遲至近年始漸繁榮昌盛，但也因此相當程度維持了古樸的本質與值得考述的文物景觀。筆者自民國九十七年起於桃園平鎮展開伯公普查與資料分析工作，走訪平鎮區63座伯公，本論文即從中抽取具有碑文傳說的13座伯公祠，輔以平鎮地區文獻記載之張福德與平鎮得名傳說，加以整理、歸納，尋找其透露之宗教、文化訊息與先民事跡；探索伯公型制在客家文化中的獨特意涵，傳說中伯公的職掌與地位，冀能在客家文化保留上貢獻一己之力。

”Bo Gung”, the name of the God of land in Hakkas, is also an important part of their belief and the popularest. Pin-Jen located at the centre of Tao Yuen County, the heart of 12 towns, is a place where Hakkas-alike groups get together. I've started making survey and gathering for data analysis since 2008. Meanwhile I have visited 63 Bo Gung temples since then. I choose 13 Bo Gung temples according to the ancient legend, also add the story of Fu De Chang and the legend of Pin-Jen from the local library. By exploring the unique Hakkas culture I see the Bo Gung's legend duty and respectable position, I wish I could do my best to reserve it.
