The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between workplace friendship and perceptions of organizational politics. Moreover, this study is also to explore the moderating effect of organizational level. Previous studies state that there may be an inconsistent relationship between workplace friendship and perceptions of organizational politics. By reasoning, organizational level may have some effect of the relationship between workplace friendship and perceptions of organizational politics. Data for this study were obtained by means of questionnaires from different industrial employees. The empirical data stated that workplace friendship is negatively associated with perceptions of organizational politics, but organizational level does not have the moderating effect on them. Practical suggestions and future suggestions are also provided.
