從古典到流行：論音樂中女性角色之變化

「音樂」在中西方教育體制中常被作為教化人心之工具，並可以反映出創作當時社會上文化、思想與價值觀。培育學生具備尊重和關懷社會上不同性別與族群的價值，是當前國內教育界所強調的理念。隨著社會上重視性別平等的推行，女性地位越來越提升的情況下，許多研究都會從歷史、社會、文化等角度來探討女性角色的發展與變化，但從音樂的角度來探究此一議題，卻鮮少有相關研究在進行。本文透過文獻探討的方式，先由音樂的類別與功效、女性角色與相關定義、西洋古典音樂發展中的女性角色、國語流行歌曲發展中的女性角色等方面進行研究，最後提出結論。本研究發現在西洋古典音樂及國語流行歌曲的發展過程中，皆呈現了女性角色在社會上的轉變。在音樂歷史中，一直要等到二十世紀之後，才真正開始給予女性有較多的表現機會。近期女性主義思潮的興起雖然使得女性地位提升了許多，但社會給予女性的限制仍然存在，需要持續努力地去改善。本文建議在大學音樂通識課程中，教師在培育學生美學素養的同時，應多關注其背後的女性角色之轉變，同時引領學生重視女性相關議題。

With the emphasis on education diversity in our modern society, it's important to understand the social implications, ethical ridges, cultural respects, and basic dignity to such diversity. One such diversity is gender equality, especially in school and workplace settings. Feminine roles are continuously being changed by our culture, so it's of utmost importance that the evolution of feminine be understood from many aspects. But studies show that the relationship between gender and music has rarely been done in the past. No matter classical or popular, music reflects social changes, human thoughts, common protocol, and ethnic issues of its time. Likewise, feminine roles can also be charted by the development of music history. The purpose of this paper is to study the feminine issues in the perspective of music, so that our college students can learn the change and development of feminine roles, and build their gender consciousness in the meantime. This paper will begin with the spirit and effect of music, then look into the indication of feminine issues, the change of feminine roles in classical and popular music will also be discussed. The importance regarding how to introduce change of feminine roles into music general education is also emphasized.
