解釋與安頓－試論台灣原住民地震神話之治療義蘊
Explanation and Settle Down: Preliminary Exploration the Remedial Significance of Taiwan Aboriginal's Earthquake Myths
摘要
神話不僅是說明的故事，更爲初民對於周遭生存環境之變異不常現象、原始信仰與生活狀況的的原邏輯性解釋。自古以來，地處環太平洋斷層帶上的台灣在地震的威脅下擠壓出許多對地震的神話解釋。相較於台灣傳統「地牛」、「巨鼇載地」及「共工怒觸不周山」等地震神話，原住民之動物類、巨人類、神靈惡魔類與復仇主題地震神話不僅呈現出多樣的神話思維，其地牛地震神話更對台灣地牛翻身神話的形成具有重要的影響。其次，就神話與災難心理治療的關係而言，原住民地震神話亦發揮古代受創心靈的治療作用。無論是以「解」釋來整編扭曲的心靈，或是藉由安撫地牛地底人神靈及搏殺引發地震的山羊與巨人的交感巫術來「釋」放受創恐懼，抑或以神話之「活的實體」安頓社會文化與個體混沌失序狀態等，皆可以發現地震神話在初民受創心靈的復建上扮演著關鍵的角色。雖然早期台灣原住民社會並無現代社會中的災難心理治療的觀念，但神話則以解釋、釋放及安頓秩序的作用填補了初民的心靈板塊，扮演著古代災難心理治療的重要角色。台灣原住民地震神話非旦充滿初民對生命統一性的企盼，更具有心靈治療的義蘊。首節爲問題的產生，次節爲台灣原住民地震神話的類型與特色，第三節則是台灣原住民地震神話的治療義蘊，最後爲結語。

Myths are not only explanatory story, but also the ancestor's original logical explanation of variation phenomenon, primitive faith and state of living around the living environment. Since ancient times, Taiwan located and surrounded the earthquake zone of the Pacific Ocean pushes a lot of myth explanation about the earthquake under threat of earthquake. Compare it to the Taiwan traditional di-nui (地牛) myth, enormous turtle beared the earth (巨鼇載地), Gong Gong knocked into Bu Zhou Mountain angrily (共工怒觸不周山) earthquake myth, Taiwan aboriginal's earthquake myths not merely demonstrate various mythical thinking, have important influence to the forming of Taiwan di-nui (地牛) myth. Secondly, as regards relation of the mythology and disaster psychotherapy, Taiwan aboriginal's earthquake myths also bring the ancient treatment function of wounded soul. No matter arrange the soul twisted by explaining, or release the fear by the sympathetic wizardry of the di-nui (地牛) myth, or settle down social culture and individual state of chaos by the mythical characteristic of living reality, can find earthquake myths play a key role about ancestor's psychological rebuild. Though the early Taiwan aboriginal's society does not have the idea of disaster psychotherapy in modern society, but myths fill in the ancestor's soul plate by the function of explain, release and settle order, act the important role of the ancient disaster psychotherapy. Taiwan aboriginal's earthquake myths are not full of ancestor's expectation to the unity of the life, also have the remedial Significance. The chapter one is to expose the problem of this essay. The chapter two is the type and the characteristic of Taiwan aboriginal's earthquake myth. The chapter three is the remedial Significance of Taiwan aboriginal's earthquake myth. The chapter four is coclusion.
