關於台灣原住民社會資本化歷程的討論,於過去文獻中,原住民常被描繪的是被動、邊緣化的經驗,本文希望透過對宣蘭縣大同鄉四季村高冷蔬菜種植經驗的觀察,解析資本主義邏輯與機制如何鎮但是在原漠日常生活的互動關係?族人如何在族群與階級差序共存的關係中,透過主體能動性,歷經反思與生活策略的運用,以轉換其族群/階級社會空間的位置?民國99年5-8月間透過田野調查與深入訪談,本研究發現,在生產的面向,四季泰雅族人在80-90年代以累積物質資本的方式,找回菜園經營的自主權,但在運銷方面,卻透過「拿訂金」、「拼量」、「算了」等勞動意識與文化觀,仍然陷在隱藏性剝削的機制裡。經過三十年高冷蔬菜種植的歷程,第三、三代的農民體悟到不對等交易的貶抑感,看見隱藏性的剝削, 興起了「願賭服輸」與文化資本投資的強烈動機,進而利用族群內與跨族群的社會資本,以及艾化資本,透過生活世界質作邏輯的策略,例如借力使力、畫界、演戲或正面迎戰等步數,嘗試於族群、階級、城鄉交錯的障礙中,轉化其社會位置;同時也在商品化與去商品化的斟酌中,他們企圖的,不僅是個人位置的轉變,更是整個部落位置的轉變。
With respect to the issues of capitalization in Taiwan tribal societies, the passive experiences of marginalization have been generally discussed in previous studies. The agency of the social actor in the unequal ethnic relations has been overlooked. This research focuses on the issues as follows:(1) how the capitalist mechanism is embedded in everyday life where Atayal people and Han run vegetable farms in the same area based on the relations of cooperation as well as competition ? (2)How Atayal people, as the agency of social actors , reflect the experience of hidden exploitation and use life strategies to make mobility in social space in terms of ethnic and social class. The findings show that in the first period of time, Atayal people accumulate economic capital to win back the control of vegetable farm; later on they use social capital within ethnic group and inter ethnic groups, as well as cultural capital to debunk the hidden exploitation.
