專門化對水肺潛水者的環境知識與行爲之影響

摘要

近年來，由於水域活動的興起，一定程度地加速海洋環境的惡化，亦對素有海中熱帶雨林之稱的珊瑚礁造成威脅。珊瑚礁過去一向是臺灣所擁有優美的海中景觀，也是重要的生態指標，對於水肺潛水者來說更是其樂趣與吸引力所在。本研究旨在探討水肺潛水者「遊憩專業化程度」是否會對其「環境知識」以及「環境行動」有所影響，並分析水肺潛水者「環境知識」及「環境行動」間之關聯性。將此一實證研究結果作爲提供政府制定水域活動管理策略之參酌。本研究以臺灣北、中、南三區之水肺潛水者爲抽樣對象，以立意抽樣法挑選出全台較具有代表性的20家進行抽樣。本研究架構獲得實證上的支持，得到3項實證結果：1.水肺潛水者之「遊憩專門化程度」會正向影響其「環境知識」。2.水肺潛水者之「遊憩專門化程度」會正向影響其「環境知識。3.水肺潛水者之「環境知識」與「環境行動」之間有顯著相關。

In recent years, the thriving popularity of water sports causes the quality of ocean environment to deteriorate. It also threatens the existence of coral reef, the wonderful scenic portrayed as undersea tropical rainforest. The coral reef is not only an elegant sight under ocean, but also an important indicator for undersea ecosystem and the main attraction for scuba divers. The aim of this study is to examine the interrelationships between divers' specialization, environmental knowledge and environmental behavior. Hopefully, the result of this study can aid the government in their formation of water sports management strategy. The study employed intensity sampling method that surveyed divers from 20 diving establishment located in north, middle and south part of Taiwan. The result indicates that the proposed research framework is supported by the empirical evidences of this study. The empirical evidences are: (1) scuba divers' specialization positively affects their environmental knowledge, (2) scuba divers' specialization positively affects their environmental behavior, and (3) scuba divers' environmental knowledge and environmental behavior show significant correlation.
