本研究目的在瞭解不同年級與性別之大學生規律休閒運動參與及憂鬱指數之現況以及規律休閒運動與憂鬱之關係。採「運動改變階段問巻」與「台灣人憂鬱症量表」為量化工具。以大葉大學667名1至4年級(男生349人;女生318人)學生為受測對象。所得資料採描述性統計、單因子變異數分析及卡方等統計方法進行資料分析,得到以下結果:一、無論男、女生,較低年級之大學生其規律休閒運動參與程度越高,憂鬱指數越低;二、年級越高及女性學生規律休閒運動參與程度越低,憂鬱指數則越高;三、參與規律休閒運動程度越高其憂鬱指數則有越低的現象。結論:大學生規律休閒運動之參與及憂鬱指數會因為年級與性別差異有所不同;參與規律休閒運動能改善大學生之憂鬱狀況。因此建議無論各年級與性別皆應積極養成規律休閒運動之習慣以提升大學生抗憂鬱調適之能力。
The main purpose of this study was to understand how college students' recreational activities involvements with different age and gender affected the melancholy index. The exercise stage of change questionnaire and Taiwanese Depression Scale were applied as the tool of quantitative analysis. 667 Da-Yeh university students served as the subjects and the results were as below: 1.The first and 2nd year tended to have the lowest result on melancholy index as long as they had high participation on recreational activities; 2.The senior grade female students had the highest result on melancholy index as long as they had minimum participation on recreational activities; 3.The high involvement of recreational activities lowered the college students' melancholy index. Conclusion: The relationship between college students' regular recreational sports involvements and melancholy index varied according to grade and gender. It is suggested that students should participate recreational sports regularly to alleviate the depression problems.
