As expected, the party led by Aung San Suu Kyi emerged victorious in the 2020 Myanmar general election. However, considering Aung San Suu Kyi's age and the strong critics from the international community, Myanmar has entered a de facto post-Aung San Suu Kyi era. Moreover, the recent military coup has also marked a temporary end of Aung San Suu Kyi's regime. Therefore, no matter from what perspective, after the election Myanmar is on a turning point that the older generation must step down and pass on power to the younger generation. Under this premise, the study will discuss the direction Myanmar should take afterwards.
