性犯罪者的“自負特質”與攻擊行爲及自我控制的關係

摘要

本研究以Baumeister (1996)的自我威脅假設爲理論基礎，探討以此概念所發展的情境式自負特質量表，是否比只著重「誇大的－愛表現的」的單一內涵的自戀特質量表，更能預測性犯罪者的攻擊行爲與自我控制？本研究的受試對象爲台北監獄的受刑人，採用便利取樣的方式抽樣，又透過社會讚許性量表(Social Desirability Scale)作爲篩選受試者的工具，因此有效樣本數爲288位受試者。他們均接受社會讚許性量表、情境式自負特質量表、自戀性格量表、波氏攻擊量表與自我控制量表的施測，並以逐步迴歸分析計算自負特質與自戀特質對於攻擊行爲與自我控制能力的預測力。本研究結果顯示情境式自負特質量表確實比自戀性格量表對攻擊行爲與自我控制能力更具預測力，此結果也說明了自負特質者極易因爲自我受到威脅而產生負向情緒，負向情緒又會損耗自我調控的資源進而造成自我調控的失敗，提高攻擊行爲的可能性。因此，於未來的研究中可加以探討，自負特質是否可當爲性犯罪再犯的心理傾向之一。

This is conducted based on threatened egotism hypothesis by Baumeister (1996), for discussing the concept on developing the Egotism Responses Inventory. Our concern is whether the Inventory is more efficiency than the Narcissistic Personality Inventory which only emphasizes ”Grandiosity-Exhibitionism” in predicting the aggressive behavior and the self-control of sexual criminals? The measured objects are criminals in the Taipei Prison during this research. Screen tool for test objects is conduct with Social Desirability Scale and convenience sampling method. This research obtains 288 available samples. They accepted tests including Social desirability scale, Egotism response Inventory, Narcissistic personality Inventory, Buss aggression questionnaire and self-control scale contemporarily. Therefore, predicting abilities, regarding abilities of aggressive behavior and self control originated from egotism or narcissistic personality individually, which are calculated by progressive regression analysis are available. The result shows that the explanation and prediction ability of Egotism response Inventory is more efficiency than Narcissistic personality Inventory. This finding shows that, people with egotism is induced from negative emotion easily because of egotism being threatening. Negative emotion will consume the resource of self-control abilities till fade. Therefore, it will enhance the tendency of aggressive behavior. In conclusion, more future researches are commanded whether focus on the egotism that can be regarded as one of the psychological predisposition of sexual crime or not.
