摘要

台灣人口老化與少子化已成為全國重視的焦點，今日台灣勞動力與新興需求的相對變化，已成為經濟與社會發展的重要議題。而當前老人照顧產業的發展正符合了未來新人口結構生活型態之產業新趨勢。本研究針對以下三個重點做探討：一、探討當前長期照顧產業發展的重點；二、老人長期照顧產業的發展與其照顧專業的特質。三、老人長期照顧產業中如何界定社會照顧專業品質指標。最後針對探討發現與結果提出建議與說明。

The aging population and the low fertility rate have become the top issues in Taiwan. Both of these two issues affect the need of labors and the development of new economic and society. Providing the long-term care for elderly people would be the major service in the aging society and there is also a tendency that more formal social care replaces family care for these elder people because of fewer young generation people. This research focused on the following issues: 1. To explore the contemporary developmental tendency on long-term social care industry. 2. Understanding to the nature of long-term social care industry. 3. To explore the quality indicators of long-term social care industry. Conclusion and suggestions will be presented in the final section.
