This study is aimed to explore the effect of perceived coach's leadership behavior and goal orientation on sport performance, and further investigate the mediation effect of goal orientation between perceived coach's leadership behavior and sport performance. Participants were 93 athletes and the three data-collecting scales were about above-mentioned variables. The data were then analyzed statistically with descriptive statistics, multiple regression analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis, etc., with level of significance α=.05. The research findings are as follows: 1. In coach's leadership behavior, the two aspects "training and directing behavior" and "rewarding behavior" showed significantly positive effect on "sport performance." 2. "Work orientation" aspect in "goal orientation" showed significantly positive effect on "sport performance." 3. Goal orientation displayed no mediation effect between coach's leadership behavior and sport performance.
