摘要

感性活動是作為我們的知識活動與審美活動的共同基礎本文嘗試介於美學與知識論之間，提出一個對於感性活動的另類觀察。筆者嘗試提出「感性活動的第三類接觸」的觀念，以此觀念作為中心來解讀現代生活中感性活動的新局面。所謂「感性活動的第三類接觸」係相對於感性活動的第一類接觸與第二類接觸而言。第一類接觸即感官與真實世界的感覺對象的直接接觸；第二類接觸即感官以模擬自然事物的再現作為對象的感覺活動；而第三類接觸則指稱感官與人為創造的新事物，特別是經由電腦所產生的事物，作為感覺對象所產生的新一類型的感性活動。在對於感性活動的第三類接觸的反省同時，筆者指出在這個感性活動的第三類接觸中可能對於現代生活帶來的隱憂，並嘗試藉由「簡樸生活」的觀念來尋求解決之道。

The activity of sensation is a common foundation of the epistemological activity and the aesthetic activity. The author of this paper tries to offer a different kind of observation on the activity of sensation, which is situated between epistemology and aesthetics. The author coins a new idea-the third contact of the activity of sensation, which is taken as a key term to explain the new sphere of activity of sensation in modem life. The so-called ”third contact of the activity of sensation” is contrasted to the first and the second contact of the activity of sensation. The first contact of the activity of sensation means the organs of senses contact directly to their real world object. The second contact of the activity of sensation means the organs of senses contact indirectly to their objects which are represented by imitation of the real world. The so-called ”third contact of the activity of sensation” means the organs of senses contact their objects which are novel artificial objects, especially those created by computers, which deduce a new type of activity of sensation. While we reflect the meanings of the third contact of the activity of sensation, the author points out that this type of contact will brings troubles for modern life too. The author tries to find out a solution in the life of simplicity.
