藝術或技術:數位媒材創作思維的探究

Techniques or Arts: Examine the Creative Process of Digitally Art Objects

摘要


多年來,數位藝術被置放於科技和藝術之間的模糊地帶;主要在於藝術界有許多持續的爭論;這些爭辯多半是和探討藝術作品是否被高科技影響其美學價值的功過有關。本篇研究,綜合兩大項來探討藝術與科技長久爭論之議題,希冀透過對數位媒材運用的再探討,能提供對未來數位美學運用於藝術創作教育的理論基礎與應用。本研究首先探究如何面對科技所引起的藝術爭論以及面對新藝術媒材出現的再思考;借由康丁斯基、黑格爾、普列漢諾夫對藝術的闡述,建議仍應回到藝術的本質來思考定論。此外,本研究提出媒材的歷史選擇說,並且分析傳統藝術家和數位藝術家在使用媒材時所遇到的不同考驗;以更進一步評論依賴數位化科技所產生的藝術作品之價值和未來。提出如:創作速度、重視技巧、媒材更新、跨領域學習、創意發展、科技的陷阱…等相關現象闡述;希望未來數位創作者更能藉著科技藝術作品來反映其個人之目的性的內在意志、感情和其存在的價值。

The extension development of digital art is not only the global cultural phenomenon, also is a challenge to art material. For many years, the digital art is placed between scientific and the artistic fuzzy region. Much debate in the world of art has been focused on the merits of digital art enhanced or created by advanced technology. The aesthetics of digital media is developing with the technology. The science and technology becomes one kind of new creation intermediary material has the significant meaning for human's history. This article seeks to explain and evaluate the artwork of digital technology by examining its various relationships with traditional and digital artists, and by identifying that which is unique to the digital art process. The discussion presented here is primarily concerned with the visual aesthetics of digitally created art objects.
