On Estimation of the Frechet Distribution with Known Shape under Different Sample Schemes

This paper seeks to focus on the Bayesian estimation of scale parameter for Frechet distribution with known shape. Bayes estimators have been obtained for scale parameter for Frechet when sample is available from complete, Time (type I) and Failure (type II) censoring scheme. The results of different censoring schemes have been compared with those under complete samples. Bayes estimators have been developed under squared error loss function as well as under precautionary loss function using non-informative (uniform and Jeffreys) priors for the parameter. The performance of Bayes estimators has been compared under a Monte Carlo simulation study.
