大學生敘事力的學習表現與反思之研究:以移工議題的實作為途徑

Using the Issue of Immigrant Workers as A Study on Learning Outcomes and Reflections of Undergraduates' Narrative Competences

摘要


本文探討大學如何將全球議題融入課堂,以提高學生作為公民的意識且增加青年學子的社會關懷。由於通識教育的學習範疇涉及各種社會問題,基於此,本文指出通識教育乃是大學生參與至全球議題的重要途徑。本文選擇移工議題,以作為臺灣社會中的真實且關鍵問題,引導大學生學習和實踐其敘事能力。首先,通過跨領域的思考和社會關懷的實踐,可以發現學生能夠學習背景知識,進而藉由深度和敘事反思來探索相關議題。其次,在課程和實作場域中,得以幫助學生將移工在臺灣工作的各種經歷和意見等社會問題加以整合;最後,本文亦分析學生的學習成果、回饋和反思,以探究學生的觀點和其對於臺灣移工觀點的價值重塑歷程。最後,依據結論提出後續學術和實務之建議。

This paper investigates how universities integrate global issues in a course to improve students' awareness as civil citizens and increase their social care. This paper shows that general education provides the crucial access for undergraduates to engage in global issues. This paper selects the issues of guest workers as the real and critical social problems in Taiwan for undergraduates to learn and practice for narrative competences. Through interdisciplinary thinking and the practices of social care, this paper shows that students are able to learn background knowledge and explore related issues with depth and narrative reflection. The curriculum and fieldwork help students connect themselves to the social issues about various experiences of guest workers and their opinions on working in Taiwan. This paper analyzes student progress reports, feedbacks, and reflections to investigate student viewpoints and the process of reshaping of their values toward guest workers in Taiwan. Finally, this paper also provides conclusions and suggestions for future research.
