高中育才與大學選才:以核心素養作為連結

Talent Cultivation and Selection From High Schools to Colleges: Core Competencies as the Link

摘要


本研究目的為探討《十二年國民基本教育課程綱要總綱》(以下簡稱108課綱)之核心素養,作為連結高中育才與大學選才橋梁之現實狀況,進而提出研究問題:高中端與大學端如何藉由核心素養,銜接育才與選才機制。108課綱鼓勵素養導向教學、強調自主學習,以及跨領域統整性主題探究,以期落實適性揚才之教育。教育部建置全國高級中等學校學生學習歷程資料庫,系統性地蒐集學生學習檔案,讓學生藉由具個人特色且自發主動完成的學習歷程,展現出對於不同程度的核心素養能力。大學端則透過學習歷程檔案了解學生知識探索、努力、改變,以及學習成效,以作為選才的重要依據。本研究透過問卷調查法,於2022年10月12日至31日,針對67所公、私立大學之大學審查委員進行選才尺規與核心素養之問卷調查,有效樣本為3,368人。研究結果發現,「自主行動」面向之「系統思考與解決問題」(78.29%),以及「社會參與」之「人際關係與團隊合作」(60.38%),為較多數填答審查教師選擇與其所屬學系選才尺規相符的素養項,由此反映此二素養具有各學系的共通性,兼具跨越領域的重要性。另一方面,學群因專業領域之內涵、學習內容、知識範疇的不同,選才標準存有差異,故其所重視之素養能力呈現不同的樣態。本研究貢獻在於檢視核心素養為連結高中育才與大學選才重要的橋梁,其中,「系統思考與問題解決」、「人際關係與團隊合作」為高中教育與大學入學機制普遍重視的素養能力,即便選才所需之能力組合樣態,因學群領域的獨特性而呈現差異,仍能呼應高中課綱之核心素養,扮演串接育才與選才的關鍵角色。

Based on the 12-year Basic Education system, this study strives to establish a connection between talent nurturing in high schools and talent evaluation in colleges via the perspective of core competencies. The education system encourages a competency-driven curriculum, endorsing self-regulated learning and interdisciplinary methods. Through the Ministry of Education's comprehensive student learning portfolios database, students can better understand their learning journey and aptitudes. This database is also a valuable tool for universities to gain a deep understanding of individual students' abilities, which play a pivotal role in the admissions process. The study utilized a questionnaire, distributed across 67 universities, to identify core competencies that align with the talent selection criteria of various departments. The survey, conducted from October 12, 2022, to October 31, 2022, amassed 3,368 valid responses from faculty members across both public and private universities. The results underlined that competencies within the "Spontaneity" category, "Logical Thinking and Problem Solving" (78.29%), and within the "Social Participation" category, "Interpersonal Relationships and Teamwork" (60.38%), were universally prioritized. These competencies were found to be relevant in most academic domains, highlighting their interdisciplinary importance. Conversely, the unique features of different departmental clusters led to variations in the emphasis on other competencies, reflecting their professional domains, knowledge content, and disciplinary areas. This study substantiates that core competencies form a crucial link between talent development in high schools and talent evaluation in university admissions. The focus on competencies such as "Logical Thinking and Problem Solving" and "Interpersonal Relationships and Teamwork" is found to be integral to both high school education and university admission processes. However, the distinct attributes of various academic clusters result in differentiated emphasis on other competencies. This validation of core competencies' role as a bridge contributes to students' adaptive growth and promotes a competency-based learning continuum across educational stages.
