This research is trying to analyze the views of the Shijing Jianɡyì based on their positions and strategies of the monarch and courtiers respectively. The results show four characteristics as follow: First, the mode of Argumentation is orientated by questions (Ploblem-Based Learning), which deepened the research connotations of the Shijing. Second, the different interpretations of Zhu Xi’s explanation of Shijing by the ancient Korean scholars amplified the functions of Shijing in enlightenment of punishment and encouragement. Third, they abandoned to attach the tedious verification of Shijing but adhered to the interpretation by the Neo-Confucianism of Song Dynasty in ancient China. Fourth, they expanded the implications of Shijing so as to follow the original meanings of saints. However, this study also revealed its two limitations. First of all, the Q & A among the feudal monarch and the courtiers showed little innovative insights .It is almost the same as Zhu Xi’s interpretation. In addition, the general ability of their textual research and verification was weak. Therefore, it would be difficult for them to have a breakthrough on their interpretation of Shijing.
