The purpose of this article is to explore Kandinsky's conception of geometrical abstract art for the inspiration of the modern ”Pla damentals”, who was the teacher of the elemental classes at Bauhaus. Therefore, besides grasping the special value of Kandinsky's Geometrical Abstract Art” according to his creation、theory and teaching methodology, on the other side distinguishing its significances and direction for ”Plastic Art Fundamentals” from his experiences of ”Bauhaus Vorlehre” and extending conception of the modern ”Basic Design and Art” from ”Bauhaus Vorlehre”. Finally, inducting Kandinsky's conception of geometrical abstract art, sequentially hoping to have some innovative ideas to the teaching content and methods for present ”Plastic Art Fundamentals” course, the researcher will weigh like to deliver a voice to domestic Art and Design education realm that should re-emphasis on the importance on ”Plastic Art Fundamentals” with attempt to search for more complete and adequate design methods and teaching goals for present ”Plastic Art Fundamentals”.
