大學服務學習課程融入代間學習學習成效之研究

The Learning Effectiveness of the University Service-Learning Courses Integrating into Intergenerational Learning

摘要


面對臺灣高齡人口比例增加的問題,人口老化將是臺灣所要急切面對的議題,然家庭型態的改變減少了年輕與老年世代互動的機會,使年輕族群尊老敬老的態度可能因而變得淺薄,而相關研究指出增加連結代間互動的機會可改變年輕世代對高齡者的態度,代間學習方案是可幫助學生理解高齡者。有鑑於此,國立臺中科技大學將關懷老人列為服務學習課程內涵的主軸之一,然應如何落實於課程中、以提高學生的學習成效值得關注。因此本研究採行動研究法,旨在運用代間學習的策略融入大學服務學習課程的內涵,設計關懷老人的服務學習方案來進行經驗教育,期能提供大學生正向的服務學習經驗及改變修習課程學生對於老人的態度。本研究以大一修習服務與學習課程之學生60人為研究對象,採問卷調查法,研究工具為「大專生服務學習經驗量表」與「對老人態度量表」,於第一學期期初與第二學期末分別進行前後測,將所得資料進行統計分析以獲得研究成果。研究結果顯示:大專生服務學習經驗量表之前後測達顯著差異,亦即透過本課程方案設計與實踐,學生對於服務學習的感受產生正向的經驗;在對老人態度量表的前後測亦達顯著差異,也就是透過本課程,學生對老人的態度有所改變;另服務學習經驗與對老人態度間呈現顯著正相關,顯示參與服務學習融入代間學習之課程方案之學生其服務學習經驗的感受越佳,對老人之態度就越佳。

The population ageing was an important issue in Taiwan. Changes in family patterns reduced opportunities for younger and older generations to interact. The intergenerational learning program was a tool to encourage students to understand the elderly. National Taichung University of Science and Technology listed caring for the elderly as an important connotation of Service-learning courses. Therefore, this research adopted an action research method to develop service-learning courses that incorporate intergenerational learning, and analyze the learning effectiveness of the course. The research used the College Students' Service Learning Experience Scale and the Elderly Attitudes Scale to conduct a questionnaire survey. The pre- and post-tests were conducted at the beginning of the first semester and the end of the second semester. The data obtained were statistically analyzed to obtain the research results. The results were showed as follow: There were significant differences between pre- and post-tests of the College Students' Service Learning Experience Scale and of the Elderly Attitudes Scale. The Students' perceptions of service-learning became more positive through the design and practice of this course plan. Students' attitudes towards the elderly became better. There was a significant positive correlation between the post-test of service learning experience and the post-test of attitudes towards the elderly, which showed that the better the service-learning experiences of students, the better the attitude of the students towards the elderly.
