並列摘要

Objective: To determine the factors asosiated with the sixmonth mortality in elderly patients with hip fracture. Methods: Multi-center prognostic-based cohort study design in the elderly with hip fracture in the hospital setting in Indonesia. Data collected including demographic characteristic, functional status pra fracture, cognitive-mental status, nutritional status, comorbidity index, and the procedures. Subjects was followed of his mortality status assessed within 6 months after the hip fracture. The logistic regression analysis was performed. Results: In 262 subjects, 75.6 % female, 24.4 % male, median age 74.5 (60-94 years old). The Age ≥80 years old (OR 3.67, 95%CI, 1.68 to 8.0), Male (OR 2.69, 95%CI, 1.18 to 6.13), Charlson Comorbidity Indeks (CCI) ≥ 2 (OR 5.77, 95%CI, 2.51 to 13.26), Malnutrition (OR 9.30, 95%CI, 4.35 to 19.86), and Non-Operative Procedure (OR 2.79, 95%CI, 1.34 to 5.78) was a predictor factor of six-months mortality in the elderly patients with hip fracture. Conclusion: The age ≥80 years old, Male, CCI ≥ 2, Malnutrition, and Non-Operative procedures is a predictive model of sixmonth mortality in elderly patients with hip fracture.
