口腔保健教育介入對幼兒知識、態度及行為影響之研究-以台中市某公立幼稚團為例

The Effects of Oral Health Education Intervention on Young Children's Knowledge, Attitude,and Practice of Oral Health -A Case Study of a Public Kindergarten in Taichung City

摘要


目的:本研究目的旨在探討口腔保健教育介入對幼兒知識(knowl edge,K)、態度(attitude,A)及行為(practice,P)之影響。方法:以自編「口腔保健教育介入對幼見口腔保健KAP影響之調查問卷」及「口腔保健教育介入幼兒口腔保健單元教學」為研究工具,採用立意取樣方式, 以台中市某公立幼稚園5-6歲,兩班中、大混齡班之幼兒為研究對象。採準實驗研究法,有效樣本數為52人。問卷調查所得資料,分別採用描述性統計、獨立樣本t檢定及共變數分析進行資料分析與處理。結果:兩組幼兒在三面向之前測排序,依序是口腔保健態度、行為、知識。實驗組與控制組幼兒在口腔保健KAP三個分量表及總量表的前測得分,未達顯著差異。進行8週的口腔保健教育介入後,實驗組幼兒在口腔保健KAP三個分量表及總量表的後測得分, 均顯著高於控制組。結論:研究發現口腔保健教育介入對幼兒口腔保健知識、態度、行為具有立即成效。建議政府及教育相關單位在推廣口腔保健教學時,應由幼兒階段開始實施。

Aims:This study investigated the effects of oral health education intervention on young children's knowledge (K), attitude (A), and practice (P) of oral health.Methods:The main research instruments were a self-developed ”Questionnaire on the effects of oral health education intervention on children's oral KAP” and ”The oral health education intervention - oral health instruction for children”. The subjects were children aged between 5~6 selected via purposive sampling from two mixed-age classes in a public kindergarten in Taichung City. The quasi-experimental method was adopted, and the valid sample comprised of 52 children.The survey results were analyzed using descriptive statistics, analysis of covariance, and t-testResults;ln the pretest ” oral health KAP”, the experimental and the control groups scoredhighest in the dimension of ”oral health attitude”, followed by ” oral health practices” and ” oralhea1th knowledge”. Before the oral health education intervention, the score difference between the two groups of children was not significant in any dimension or overall scale of oral hea1th KAP. After 8 weeks of the oral health education intervention, children in the experimental group scored significantly higher than those in the control group in all dimensions or overall scale oforal hea1th KAP.Conclusions;The study found that oral health education on the young children's knowledge,attitude, and practice of oral health immediately effective. The finding suggests the govemmentshould implement the oral health education on preschool children
