大學校院室內設計系課程在實務應用上之研究

A STUDY ON THE PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF THE INTERIOR DESIGN COURSES IN TAIWAN'S UNIVERSITIES

摘要


大學教育存在產學落差,無法學以致用的主要原因之一為學校課程缺少業界人士參與設計且教學缺少實務技能內容。為了改善並提升我國的技職教育,政府除推動學生校外實習外,也積極建置技職課程及教材銜接產業需求之彈性機制、強化技專校院系科自我定位、與業界建立共構產業導向之實作及特色課程等。本研究從學生、教師及相關業者三個面向,研討學校室內設計與裝修課程規劃及教學的適當性,作為室內設計系組實務教學內容改進的參考。本研究的主要目的為:探討我國各校室內設計系課程規劃及教學內容的適當性、相關專業實務教學上應加強的重點及學生校外實習課程的必要性。本研究所採取半結構式訪談法,立意抽樣選取受訪者包括室內設計系組學校教師、學生及室內設計執業的設計師或從業人員。研究結果顯示,各校室內設計系所訂定的教育目標不能確實的反映學生就業後的需求。學校內的教學以文字及口述並輔以照片或影片的授課方式,無法使學生對於室內設計與裝修細部實務獲得深刻的印象與完整的了解。在課程規劃與內容方面,「溝通技能」類別課程的學習對於學生就業時的應用最為重要,其中又以電腦軟體AutoCAD及施工圖面繪製的應用性最高、「永續與創新」類別課程在業界實務上應用的機會及重要性均為最低。畢業設計的訓練對於學生未來就業時在實務應用上的助益不大。學生校外實習的訓練有助於未來就業時的實務操作。

There is a gap between learning in university and practical application in industry. One of the main reasons is lacking the participation of the industry in school curriculum planning. The main purpose of this study is to explore the appropriateness of the curriculum planning and teaching contents of the interior design departments in universities, the key points that should be strengthened in the professional teaching and the necessity of internship for interior design students. In this study, semi-structured interviews were conducted. Faculty, students, and practitioners in the interior design field are selected. The results show that the educational goals set by the departments of interior design cannot really reflect the needs of students after their employment. In the curriculum planning and content, the courses of the "Communication Skills" category is the most important for students' application during their employment. The computer software AutoCAD and construction drawings have the highest practical application. The courses of "Sustainable and Innovative" category are seldom applied to practical working. Graduation design training has little help in the practical application for students' future employment. The training of students' internship will much help their future employment in practical operation.
