Dual Fuzzy PD Control of DSP-Based Rotary Inverted Pendulum

This paper presents the dual fuzzy PD control of the DSP-based rotary inverted pendulum. The dual fuzzy PD controller is adopted to balance the pendulum. The concept of state feedback control is extended to dual fuzzy PD control. The design method and performance are compared for both of these methods in this paper. This paper is also appropriate for the control education.
