This paper aims to urge the government and tourism and hospitality professionals to purge the work environment from sexual harassment in Taiwan. Through reviewing and integrating considerable relevant literature, the origin and development of sexual harassment were first described to help tourism and hospitality practitioners understand the term. Then, the legislation course and process of Taiwan government in response to the current situation of sexual harassment were discussed. This discussion assisted tourism and hospitality practitioners understanding the efforts and progress the government made to solve the problems. Furthermore, the impacts of sexual harassment on individuals and enterprises were explains. Finally, several useful and radical solutions were provided to the government, academia and the industry.
