The number of foreign workers in Taiwan has increased year by year. What they do in their spare time provides an interesting background for a research on the subject of foreign workers and the leisure activities they partake. This study surveys the leisure activities participated by foreign women workers from the perspectives of 'feminism', 'cross-nationalism', and 'labor models'. Results of this research will contribute to both the public and private sectors for leisure and labor management practices and policy-making and supplement the lack of information in this area in the academic community. This study is set with three objectives: 1. Explore how cross-nationalism and feminism affect the leisure activities of female foreign workers. 2. Survey the influence of different labor models on the leisure activities partaken by female blue-collar workers and female professional workers and the connotation in management related issues. 3. Understand whether the public or private sectors have provided sufficient recreational facilities to foreign women workers.
