摘要

本論文は台湾における高等教育の国際化とその関する課題について考察するものである。その論述は台湾の高等教育の拡大から、歴史的な背景と形成を述べ、次いで各国の高等教育における国際化の定義を参考しながら、台湾の高等教育における国際化について、近年の新たな「ダブルディグリー制度」が発足した後に実施している事例を取り上げ、その制度に関する留学生を送り出す側からみた課題を探求したものである。そして、台湾の高等教育の国際化に関する部分的な課題をも明らかにすることによって、今後国際社会の環境に合わせ、教育内容の国際化を強化することに寄与したい。

Under the globalization nowadays, highe r education in most countries tends to become borderless. ”The internationalization of Higher Education” is getting more important t han ever.To improve the competiveness of Taiwan education in the world, the Ministry of Education in Taiwan has introduced a new educational policy-due degree (or double degree). This paper is focus on discussing this new educational policy in Taiwan and its relative challenges.
