Acute myocardial infarction combined with trauma is rare. Here we report a 64-year-old man who had an intracranial hemorrhage, rib fracture, hemothorax, spleen laceration, and tibiofibular opened fracture in a motor vehicle accident. Acute myocardial infarction with cardiogenic shock occurred two hours later in the emergency room. He received emergency percutaneous coronary intervention and stent implantation and was discharged smoothly twenty six days later.
