摘要

本文中所要探知的伊斯蘭婦女形象，主要是由七世紀中穆罕默德創立回教後留下的紀錄，也就是《可蘭經》與《聖訓》。雖然這兩個文本內容大部分是男性作者對婦女的描述與觀感，然而其中卻多少帶有對女性的關懷與對女性本身的正面看法。並從中發掘出在當時伊斯蘭婦女所扮演的角色與其特質，以及可蘭經為她們帶來的解放與束縛。
