師培生職前學習經驗之探究

The Inquiry of Pre-service Teachers' Learning Experiences

摘要


本研究採用質性研究法,以十位大四職前教師(三男七女)為研究對象,深度訪談探究其在中部一所初等教育師資培育機構的學習經驗。研究結果包括三方面:一、師資培育課程:有鑑於國小是通才教育,國小教師必須學習各科的教學,因此職前教師均認為教材教法類的課程最重要。集中實習時,職前教師領悟到當教師實非簡單之事;而將所學應用在教學活動中,引起學生學習興趣,帶給職前教師相當大的信心與成就感。職前教師認為音樂、美勞等普通課程可培養職前教師基本的教學能力,心理學類的課程則是基礎且實用。此外,課程內容若太理論或太深奧,對實際教學助益並不大,較適用於應試。二、課程安排與生涯發展:職前教師認為授課教師、排課的時程與學生的心態都會影響學習效果。職前教師們覺得大一、大二時,對學習不甚用心,也不知生涯規劃的重要,直到大二下學期才開始定心學習。職前教師建議在大一時先施行定向測驗。而太早修習的課程到大四已經忘光,所以專業科目宜大二下學期再開始修,而作業繁重的課程不宜放在大四。三、希望多學習:職前教師在集中實習時方發現自己所學不足,後悔沒趁在校時多修習有助將來教學的課程或是輔系。職前教師希望師範院校也能像一般大學,課程及活動具有多元化的選擇。

The purpose of this study was to explore elementary pre-service teachers' learning experiences under the teacher education in a teachers college in central Taiwan.Based on the purpose, the qualitative method was used to collect the data. Ten pre-service teachers were interviewed. The results of the study are as follows.1. Teacher education curriculum: Most of pre-service teachers thought that teaching material and teaching method courses as the most important. The courses which were too theoretical do not help teaching. General courses, such as music, art, raised the basic teaching ability, and psychology courses were fundamental and practical. During practicum pre-service teachers realized teaching is not an easy job. Applying what they had learned to their teaching brought them a lot of confidence and sense of achievement.2. Curriculum and career development: Pre-service teacher deemed professors, curriculum, and students' belief all affect learning outcomes. When freshman or sophomore, they were not serious about learning and didn't know the importance of career planning until the second semester of sophomore. They suggested all freshmen have career orientation.3. Look forward to learning more: While student teaching, pre-service teacher found they weren't adequate enough. They regretted not taking more courses that helpful to teaching. They expected to have varieties of choices as other universities, such as exchange students system, English courses, and high-school teacher education program.
