個案學校實施PBL(Project- Based Learning, PBL)課程專題式學習方法,對學童從事健康生活具有相當成效。
Teachers carried out the project based learning courses in the case school. and The techniques are suitable both for kids who are overweight and for those who are underweight. The result shows that there is a statistically significant difference in BMI and nutritional knowledge at students in the case school. There were improvements in students' height, weight, and figure, and increases in time spent doing moderate and vigorous intensity exercise. Kids spent more time walking and their physical fitness test scores were much higher. When eating out, children knew to avoid sugarless drinks and to try to consume one and a half fists of cooked vegetables. They also learned that they should limit their time playing the computer to two hours. However, the shortage of teaching time, students' cognition, parents’ cooperation and the endurance of the activity are the suggestions for the further study.
