Simultaneous lunate and perilunate fracture-dislocation of both wrists: A case report

摘要
We reported a rare case of simultaneous transscaphoid perilunate fracture-dislocation (PLFD) of one wrist and perilunate dislocation (PLD) of the other in a patient with multiple traumatic injuries following traffic accidents. PLDs and PLFDs are uncommon, challenging, generally high energy injuries that carry a guarded prognosis. These injuries are commonly missed in up to 25% of cases in the presence of other major injuries and delayed or chronic injuries have worse outcomes as retrospective analysis demonstrating.
