It has been over 10 years since the Ministry of Education constructed a normalized model for student physical fitness in 1995 and spread the model via three stages in 1999. The three stages were implemented through Improvement of Student Physical Fitness Plan (also known as 333 Plan), Five Year Plan for Elementary and High School Students' Health Status (Body Mass Index), and Pleasure Plan. The physical fitness was categorized into health physical fitness and athletic physical fitness according to subject and objective. The study was conducted through interview and the purpose of this study was to explore college students' athletic physical fitness from the differentiation of health physical fitness and athletic physical fitness. The results were categorized into four phases, objective oriented, self-discipline, duration of exercise, and performance, which were found to be relating to objective of activity, motivation, and other factors.
