一位女性藝術家的邊緣發聲練習—柳依蘭

The Practice of Borderline Voicing by Female Artists-Liu Yi-Lan

摘要


本文旨在探討,一位從未受過正統學院訓練的高雄女性藝術家:柳依蘭(1966-)。透過女性藝術家的生命述說,全文以質性方法中的「敘述訪談」(narrative interview)進行,藉以受訪者述說著對自己個體經驗世界的探究,進而產出的資料。忠實敘說著有關自己的生命經驗,探索自己對生命故事主軸的檢選與陳述,望能找出深刻的故事以及深層的文化意義。透過深入訪談,瞭解「作品詮釋生命、生命詮釋作品」是柳依蘭創作的主軸,全神貫注的觀看自己、紀錄自己,是柳依蘭試圖找尋與自己內心對話的方法。因此,內文主要經由柳依蘭的生命述說,瞭解繪畫如何成為女性自我的展現空間,並且進一步瞭解女性藝術家面臨的女性經驗困境。

This paper aims to discuss the life story of a plain non-academic female artist in Kaohsiung - Liu Yi-Lan (1966-). Through narrative interview of qualitative method, this paper allows the interviewee to tell her exploration of the individual and experiential world, and her life experience truthfully. By exploring the narration of one's life story, this paper expects to probe into a deeper story and profound cultural meaning. ”A creation that interprets life, a life that interprets creation” is the main axis of Liu Yi-Lan's creation. She gazes herself with full concentration and records herself in an attempt to conduct an inner dialogue with herself. Hence, this paper focuses on understanding how painting becomes a space for self manifestation of females through Liu's life story, and further identifying the female experiences and predicament faced by female artists.
