本研究主要目的以流暢經驗與聯繫型-分離型自我基模等概念去探討參與電玩遊戲與否與電玩遊戲時間的關係。研究結果顯示聯繫型-分離型自我基模對於電玩遊戲玩家投入電玩遊戲程度以及參與電玩遊戲與否之間沒有關聯性。但對重度電玩遊戲玩家而言,體驗較多的流暢經驗。
The study is primarily concerned with exploring video gamer behaviors (including time spent playing) in relationship to two noted psychological constructs. According to the results, Connectedness-Separateness Self-Schema is not related to levels of differences of game-users and non-gamers or gamers. Heavier game-users report greater flow experiences. Thus, flow is positively associated with time spent playing.
