球類運動三維動作庫之製作-應用光學式動作擷取系統

Development of the 3D Motion Database-Application of Optical Motion Capture System

摘要


數位內容產業是台灣兩兆雙星計畫中的雙星產業之一,而電腦動畫在數位內容範疇中佔重要部份,當中又以虛擬角色動畫之製作最富挑戰性與技術性,其常用的方法有以逐格調整關鍵影格的方式,再透過電腦運算中間影格;另外一種是目前最流行及廣泛應用之動作擷取方式,透過動作擷取系統捕捉真人動作,再將完成之數位化資料套入虛擬角色。本文即是利用陀螺儀式動作擷取系統,分別捕捉羽球、排球、籃球、躲避球及樂樂棒球等球類運動之關鍵動作,建置成以Gif骨架動畫呈現內容及超連結放大瀏覽與下載之網頁式三維(Three-Dimension, 3D)動作庫,提供動畫製作素材,方便於套用並提高角色動畫之逼真與流暢性。

Digital content industry is one of the 2-Trillion Double-star Industries. The computer animation is very important in this industry and the execution of virtual character animation has the most challenge and technique. It usually uses the method to adjust key frame gradually, and calculate the middle frame by computer. And there is other widely used method. It captures the human motions by optical motion capture system first, and then inserts the digital data into virtual character. This research uses the optical motion capture system to capture the key motions of shuttlecock, volleyball, basketball, dodge-ball and tee-ball. These motions will be executed as Gif Skeletal Animation to perform the content and link for zoom and download of three-dimension (3D) database to provide material for animation execution, so as to provide convenience for inserting and advance the reality and fluency of character animation.
