金工創作之信念與歷程探討—論王夏滿窗系列作品

Study on the Metal Smithing of Wang, Hsia-Man: the Innovation of Faith and Course

摘要


本文以臺灣新一代的金工創作者王夏滿之金工作品為主軸,並以前後歷經十年之久的創作主題—窗系列為主要研究對象,進行深度訪談與資料統整。以紮根理論的方式進行資料的分析與編碼,試圖探討窗系列作品的創作信念與歷程,從作者窗系列作品的訪談資料中,可統整出七種不同的類別;包括一、情感結構。二、環境因素。三、形態運用。四、金工技法與肌理表現。五、材料的特徵。六、創作的習慣。七、作品的使用性。經由探究此七項類別的特質,可結構出完整的創作活動型態,與活動理論(Activity Theory)所建構的模型相當類似,因此進一步從活動理論中探究創作者的創作結構,並建構創作者的創作模型。最後創作上所呈現的外在架構包括金工技法的純熟運用,與形態運用互為對應,彼此修正琢磨將美的元素達到自己所要求的目標上,另外原創性是整個創作架構中最被堅持的因素,彼此三方構成創作上完整的對外表現結構。而內在架構則包括創作者的情感結構組,環境對情感產生的影響,到創作的產生與作品的呈現,創作者對於環境的外在因素及環境所引發的內在結構都有明顯的體驗,並很自然的轉喻到作品上,作品的呈現除了感知的投射,更考慮作品的多元使用性,讓表現面面俱到。

An interview was performed with Hsia-Man Wang, on the topic of 10-year ”windows” serious metal smithing. In this study, data were analysis and coded by grounded theory to explore the innovation of faith and course. The inspiration of her artworks were classed into 7 strategies: 1. Emotion structure 2. Environment factors 3. Form application 4. Metal smithing technique 5. Material characteristics 6. Working habit 7. Artwork practical function. The state of creation activity was similar to the activity theory. Therefore, the intact creation theory depicted the creation structure of the Hsia-Man, Wang and constructed the creation model of the artist. The outer structures of the artwork were achieved by skilled metal process techniques. The inner structures consist of the expression of the multiple emotions from the artist. The outer environment factors influenced the birth of the creation and the presentation of the artwork. The artist was deeply moved by the outer environment factors and the inner structure, and then displayed the feeling on her artworks. The artwork also showed the projection of the artist's sensation. In addition, artwork practical function was taken into consideration during her innovation creation.
