摘要

晶晶書庫是臺灣全國第一間「同志書店」店內販售的出版品以同志相關者為主，兼及其他性／別相關論述的書籍，此外，還有同志情趣用品、具有同志意涵的小飾品、同志玩具、同志生活用品等。但是，晶晶所設定的消費對象並不限於同志族群，而是以開放的態度來面對所有大眾。在跨世紀之交，處於我國許多同志仍然不願正式「出櫃」社會環境中，創業初期的晶晶書庫因而具備成為同志族群與所有大眾對話窗口的條件。晶晶更努力營造本身成為同志族群的活動中心、認同與歸屬的對象，由於開店地區有許多學校分佈，所以來店的顧客也以學生為大宗。創業初期（1999—2002）的晶晶書庫透過多角化的經營、親切的服務以及成功的行銷，逐漸立定腳跟，成長茁壯。晶晶書庫作為一間書店，以其最基本的販賣書籍之本行而言，對於同志相關書籍的傳播具有頗可觀的效果，其具備的同志運動意義也極為重要，晶晶書庫的創立對於同志空間的拓展確實具有里程碑式的意義。

The Gin-Gin bookstore, the first bookstore for gay and lesbian, mainly sells publications about gay and lesbian as well as other gender-related books. Moreover, sex toys, accessories symbolize gay or lesbian, and stuff for daily use are also available. Despite the kinds of merchandises, Gin Gin's target audiences are not limited to gay and lesbian, but make open to the public. At the turn of the century, there was still a hostile atmosphere for gay and lesbian to be ”out of closet” in Taiwan. Therefore, Gin-Gin bookstore happened to become a communication platform between gay, lesbian and public. The shop owner of Gin-Gin bookstore also devoted himself to make the bookstore not merely a store, but a place to gather the sense of identification and belongingness. In addition, due to the distribution of many schools near the bookstore, the majority of the costumers are students. In the period of beginning stage, Gin-Gin bookstore gradually made successful development through business diversification, considerate service and effective marketing. The Gin-Gin bookstore enabled the wide spread of gender-related books. It was also meaningful to gay and lesbian's social movement. To sum up, the establishment of Gin-Gin bookstore provides historic significance to the expansion of gay and lesbian's space.
