摘要

於百貨公司中設置主題式廁所，在近期國內外皆有成功案例，吸引消費者前往。在臺中市中友百貨公司的主題式廁所，廣受歡迎並登上TIME雜誌專題報導，國外亦有模仿的案例。在泰國曼谷市中心區、Asok捷運站1號出口旁的Terminal 21百貨公司，以航廈主題概念的設計廣受注目，除了購物空間採用機場航廈的姿態呈現之外，不同樓層的廁所採用主題式設計亦廣受歡迎。商業競爭激烈的百貨行業，成功的案例經常便會有人模仿複製，這種以情境主題為購物環境空間的設計想法，已經蔚為一股潮流，本研究實地探訪Terminal 21百貨公司的主題式廁所，調查並研究設計者的巧思，並探討消費者在這有趣的視覺主題環境中的互動行為，藉以提供未來主題式廁所設計的建議。

Successful thematic restrooms have been designed more and more in department stores. Those thematic restrooms at Chung Yo Department Store in Taichung City are very popular and reported by TIME magazine. The Terminal 21 department store at Bangkok, which is located near the Asok sky train station, was designed in terms of an airport terminal. Not only the whole building is look like a terminal, the restrooms are designed by several themes. This thematic design trends have been very popular in commercial cities. This research investigates the thematic restrooms at Terminal 21. Investigating the interactions between consumers and restrooms, this paper provides suggestions for thematic toilets.
