摘要

「咸通十哲」作為晚唐一個作家群，生平資料零散片段，散見各筆記小說（如《唐摭言》、《北夢瑣言》）、《唐詩紀事》、《唐才子傳》等文獻中。這一群身處亂世的下階層文人，貧窮且有多年科場經驗，顯然他們面對自己的未來，既不能瀟灑放棄當代掄才制度，卻又努力在生活與創作裡展露自己與世俗間有距離的視野。作為晚唐知識份子面對人生價值的問題，他們選擇辨識、確認、展現自己的位置的思維值得探討，他們留下的作品又提供了什麼圖像給讀者想像？甚至理解他們的處境與心境？本文企圖過咸通十哲作品中對生活的描寫、對題材的選擇與對詩境的營造所共構出的衰世圖像，更具體掌握咸通十哲，甚至更多默默無聞晚唐寒士的落寞情懷。

As the authors' group of the Late Tang, The Ten Sages of Xiantong's Biographical information is fragments, existed in various kind of Zhiguai xiaoshuo (such ＂Tang Zhiyan＂ & ＂Beimeng Suoyan＂), ＂Poetry Chronicle＂ and ＂Tang Caizi Chuan.＂ These kind of poor scholars in complex troubled time period are poor but had experienced different examinations. Although facing their own future, they cannot abandon the traditional imperial examination elegantly; they still tried hard to reveal their vision between vulgar in their lives and poetry. As the intellectual of the Late Tang, when facing the life-value's problem, it is worth to probe their choices about identified, confirmed even how they showed their thought; and what kind of imaginations they had left to provide to reader? Even let the reader to understand their living plight and mood in mind? This is how the paper conceived the image of this late trouble dynasty by the way how the Ten Sages of Xiantong's work about the description of life, and the selected of themes; to comprehend more feeling about those unknown and poor scholars by the Ten Sages of Xiantong.
