運用圖畫書進行死亡概念教學對幼兒死亡概念學習態度之影響

Effects of Using Picture Books to Teach Death Concepts on Young Children's Attitude to Death Concepts Learning

摘要


本研究目的在探討運用圖畫書進行死亡概念教學對幼兒死亡概念學習態度的影響。研究採準實驗研究法的不等組前後測設計,其對象為二間幼稚園大班幼兒各15名。研究進行將二個大班幼兒分為實驗組與控制組,實驗組幼兒接受十次運用圖畫書進行死亡概念教學的實驗處理,而控制組幼兒只接受幼教師以講故事的方式進行。此外,實驗組與控制組幼兒在實驗組接受實驗處理之前後,進行幼兒死亡概念學習態度的評量(包含認知行為、情感反應、敘述表現)的前測與後測。二組以前測的分數做為共變量,爾後進行共變數分析,以比較其實驗處理的效果。本研究結果發現:(1)實驗組幼兒經由實驗處理之後增加對死亡概念的認知行為;(2)實驗組幼兒與控制組幼兒的情感反應無顯著差異;(3)藉由教學現場觀察與教學結束後幼兒訪談內容發現,實驗組幼兒對死亡概念的敘述表現高於控制組幼兒,並表示喜歡以這種方式學習。

This study investigated the effects of using picture books to teach death concepts on young children's attitude to death concepts learning. Research methods used a pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design. Fifteen young children in two of kindergarten became the participants of this study, and then were divided into an experimental group or a control group. The experimental group received death concepts instruction based on using picture books to teach death concepts for ten weeks, but the control group only had ordinary picture books reading time. In addition, this study in the death concepts attitude was administered as pretest and posttest. Afterward, the analysis of covariance was used to compare the effects of the treatment in cognitive behavioral, emotional reactions, narrative expression. Result found: (i) the experimental group of the treatment could increase the cognitive behavior of death concepts; (ii) two groups in treatment for emotional reactions were no significant difference; (iii) after observations and interviews found that experimental group were higher than control group in narrative expression. Moreover, the experimental group liked to learn the death concepts in this manner.
