問題導向學習對大學生學習動機與成果影響之研究:以一所私立科大幼保系的課程為例

The effects of problem-based learning on university students' learning motivation and outcomes: A case study

摘要


本研究旨在探討問題導向學習策略,對大學生學習動機與學習成果之影響,研究者採用個案研究設計,以中部某私立科大幼保系之課程為例,共有40位學生參與該課程,其中有36位三年級學生、4位為四年級。研究者安排以問題導向學習為主軸之教學活動,並透過教學歷程中的省思和調整,探討大學生在該門課程的學習動機與學習成果。研究結果發現:(一)問題導向學習策略能有效地激發學生的課堂參與意願和學習動機;(二)問題導向學習策略能增進學生習得該課程的學習目標;(三)問題導向學習策略能增進學生的上課專注程度;(四)問題導向學習策略能增進學生的問題思考與解決能力;(五)問題導向學習策略能增進學生各項團隊合作的實施策略與方法。最後,研究亦對大學教學提出相關建議。

The aims of this study were to explore the effects of problem-based learning (PBL) on learning motivation and outcomes for university students. The case study were designed to probe the university curriculum of the department of child care and education. There are forty students participated the curriculum, 36 students were grade three and others were four. The researcher arranged the problembased learning as the spindle of the teaching activities, and through the course of teaching reflection and adjustment. The results include: (1) PBL can arouse students' willingness to participate in class and motivation effectively, (2) PBL can enhance student learning objectives of the course acquisition, (3) PBL can promote students' degree of attention in class, (4) PBL can upgrade students' thinking and problem solving skills, and (5) PBL can enhance students' cooperation capacity of teamwork.
