九歌現代少兒文學獎允為臺灣少兒文學的標竿,歷時久遠,其中死亡書寫較為少見,作家多為保護讀者而輕描淡寫人物的死亡,近年則突破往昔的避諱,深入青少年面對親友或是自身死亡的態度與心理。其中,2016年得獎作品《長跑少年》與《打發時間圖書館》特別著墨青少年的憂鬱與死亡,受到家、學校與社會的影響甚多。此外,兩部文本均關注青少年面對死亡陰影的抉擇與態度,如何面對生命困境並找到屬於自己的路。受苦的意義在於向內深掘自身的力量,透過故事敘說的角度,青少年得以找到被壓抑的聲音與動能,進而看見與肯定原本的真我。期使透過此論文探討,或可從中了解當今臺灣青少年的精神苦悶,面對死亡的態度,以及自我療救的可能。
The Prizewinning Works of Chiuko' sModernChildren' s Literature is the benchmark of young adult novels in Taiwan for long time and death writing is rare in it. Authors touch on the death writing lightly before; however, some people break the taboo and deeply describe how the teenagers face the death of friends and relatives and their own death. The prizewinning works ofChiuko' s Modern Children' s Literature, The Young Marathon Runner and The Library of Killing Time in 2016, deeply describe the depression and the death of the teenagers and indicate that the teenagers are influenced by the family、the school and the society. Two novels focus on how the teenagers face their situations and how to find their ways. The meaning of suffering is to find the inner power. The teenagers find their voices and actions of being oppressed and they begin to recognize themselves. In the paper, we can see the depression and the attitudes of death of Taiwan teenagers and also discover the possibilities of self-healing.
