沈從文早期作品中的鄉土民間源流－以話劇《賣糖復賣蔗》、《鴨子》、《霄神》為主要探討

本論擬以沈從文三則化用鄉土民間源流的話劇作品《賣糖復賣蔗》（1925）、《霄神》（1926）、《鴨子》（1926）為主要分析。分析路徑主要有二，首先把五四以來戲劇新拓史，納作基本理路知識，將新劇之精神實踐、理論辯詰、風格審美等沿革作為價值參照以探究，併及當時代社會文化景況等影響，使能理解作品；再次，由共時面向探討，即從作者初時創作的文化語境作檢索耙梳，沈從文早期作品量多且雜，幾乎涵蓋現代文學全部文類，且對於鄉土民間源流素材的應用情形，較中後期作品來得樣貌多樣，本論究以綜覽概探，使能見出初期周旋於傳統思想、新理念、新舊生活經驗與社會現實間之文觀萌思，由此進一步拓充觀見，以辨析鄉土民間源流素材於話劇創作品應用的精神意涵。

In this paper I trace the folk origins of Shen Congwen's early works , as exemplified in three of his early plays: Selling Sugar, Selling Cane (1925); The Duck (1926); and Xiaoshen (1926).My analysis consists of two main approaches. In the first, taking as a theoretical base the history of Chinese theater since the May Fourth Movement in 1919, I explore developments which have occurred in such areas as theoretical debate, aesthetic appreciation, and the realization of the new spirit of drama, while taking into account the influence of the sociocultural background of the time. In the second, adopting a synchronic perspective, I take his cultural context as the basis for examining Shen's numerous and highly diverse early works, which cover practically every style of modern literature, and which contain abundant material relating to theme of his folk literary, compared with the middle and late works, the early works appear diversified. I also make a overall analysis of Shen's early stage works , to explore how the author was influenced by traditional and modern life experiences at the time(or Influence of Western Literature and Chinese Traditional Culture).From this paper, we can see the author's views and positions on the development trend of literature and art in the May Fourth Movement (with drama as the main object of discussion).
