摘要

楊華身為臺灣新文學史上最早被肯定的詩人之一，其創作的中文新詩作品數量在日治時期最為豐碩，在臺灣新文學新詩領域上有重要歷史意義。楊華的詩作使用了大量的「自然意象」，雖多為短詩且結構上未有嚴謹之設計，但其重視意象的安排為新詩的象徵運用與發展有所貢獻。本篇論文以楊華《黑潮集》中之新詩作品作為研究對象，將過去針對影響楊華風格之詩人進行統整討論，並量化楊華詩作中的各種自然意象加以分析，配合象徵手法、中國傳統意象、五行說與西方宇宙論進行探討，藉此推進日治時期中文新詩發展與自然意象運用之研究。

As one of the poets who got the recognition in the history of modern Taiwanese literature, Yang Hua created the most modern poems in Taiwan under Japanese rule. Yang Hua had a great historical meaning of poetry in Taiwan, his poems utilized lots of ＂natural images,＂ which contribute the using of symbol in modern poetry. The paper analysis Yang Hua's collection of poems, quantifying the natural images of his creation. Through the discussion of Chinese traditional symbol, five elements theory and the poetic theory of Gaston Bachelard, the study attempted to clarify Yang Hua's poems and Chinese modern poetry in Taiwan under Japanese rule.
