The purpose of this study to explore the types of teacher-child relationship in kindergartens and the factors affecting kindergarten teacher-child relationship, using Student-Teacher Relationship Scale revised by Zhang Xiao .Randomly selected kindergarten in-service teachers in two provinces participated in and a total of 222 valid questionnaires were collected. The result found that the teacher-child relationship can be summarized into three types: intimate, conflicting, and dependent. The main factors affecting the relationship between teachers and children are: teacher gender, teacher age, teacher service age, teacher highest education, teacher teaching grade and class children number.
