目的:迷你臨床演練評量(Mini-Clinical Evaluation Exercise,Mini-CEX)是在英國早已普通運用的教學工具,主要是用來評估學生在醫療面談、身體檢查、操作技能、諮商衛教、臨床判斷、組織效能及人道專業七個面項與病患互動的情形,並立即給予回饋。方法:針對本院23名醫事檢驗實習生心電圖教學進行評估,比較傳統和Mini-CEX教學的方式,並讓學生進行簡單的滿意度調查。結果:結果顯示在操作步驟的部分成效尤其顯著,教學接受程度和執行信心這兩個部分次之,原理熟悉的部分則是較無成效的。結論:這表示Mini-CEX可幫助學生運用所學知識在臨床的技術上,我們的統計數據顯示經過多次Mini-CEX的練習後,學生就會對此項檢查技術產生信心和一致性。
Objectives. The Mini-Clinical Evaluation Exercise (Mini-CEX) is a combined teaching and assessment tool that covers seven areas of interaction with patients. It is predominately used assess students' medical interview skills, physical examination skills, procedural skills, counseling skills, clinical judgment, organizational effectiveness, and humanistic qualities/professionalism. The present study evaluated the effect of mini-CEX-oriented education and evaluation in an electrocardiogram (ECG) teaching program for 23 technologist interns, and compared to the traditional methods after performed this teaching program two weeks.Methods. A survey was administered to assess student effectiveness of learning with this teaching program.Results. We found that the training program effectively imparted the knowledge and skills needed to effectively carry out the operating procedures, that the teaching was well-accepted and confidence with the procedure was achieved.Conclusions. These findings demonstrate that the mini-CEX teaching and evaluation tool can help students to apply technical knowledge, increase student confidence, and ensure consistency in the performance of the technique.
