提升護理之家老人活動參與率

本專案旨在提升護理之家老人娛樂活動參與率，根據2011年度老人活動參與登記表統計護理之家，老人活動參與率為平均43.4%，而2012年1－6月每季老人活動參與率自38.5%驟降至31.5%，故成立專案小組。分析原因為1.醫護人員對老人活動參與認知不足。2.缺乏稽核制度。3.老人活動參與動機低。4.設備不足。經小組安排在職教育、訂定規範與持續稽核、安排多元化活動及增設設備，使老人活動參與率自2012年7－12月逐漸提升至69.3%，藉此專案提醒同仁照護老人時，能落實協助老人參與各項活動，以提升老人生活品質與維護其健康生活。

The purpose of this project was to increase participation rate of activities of elderly at our nursing home. According to the statistic table of 2011 of the participation rate of activities of our nursing home, the average rate was 43.4%. However, this rate dramatically reduced from 38.5% to 31.5% from January to June in 2012. Thus, we established a project team to increase the participation rate of activities among our residents. After clinical observation and analysis, the problems were identified: 1.he knowledge of nursing staff regarding participation rate of activities for the elderly was insufficient; 2.there was no auditing system for participation rate of activities; 3.the residents were lowly motivated to increase their activities; and 4.there was not enough participation rate of activities equipment. After arranging on the job training, establishing working procedures, continuously auditing, arranging proper activities and increasing participation rate of activities equipments, the participation rate of activities increased to 69.3%. This project, reminds nursing staff that it is important to encourage elderly residents to participate in every activities in order to improve their life quality and maintain their health.
