This study used participant observation, interview and document analysis to analyze and assess a Nurse Anesthetist professional training course in a teaching hospital. We concluded that the standards for Nurse Anesthetist training accreditation in Taiwan are different from those of other countries, that course development can be divided into steps, and that certain factors impact curriculum decision making. In this course, all the participants showed improvements in knowledge, skills and attitude. This study concludes proposing paths for further research.
